JPL Mesh Networking

The JPL Amateur Radio Club has several “nodes” on the Amateur Radio mesh network.    The mesh network uses equipment that is typically used for Wireless Internet Service Providers (WISP) but use firmware developed by the ARDEN team to support amateur radio operations.  Each device on the mesh network is called a “node”.  The mesh network functions like the regular Internet but is separate and operates on gigahertz frequencies that all licensed amateur radio operators can use.    For more information, see https://www.arednmesh.org.
